So there I was on Facebook, minding my own business when this guy says out of the blue: hey dude, I'd like to invite you to a tv show, maybe you could draw something live. And I did!
You can see the show online by visiting this website:
This was done during livestream - my first actually, so it was a bit fast forward, but overall I experimented a bit, had fun with it, although I would have preferred a bit more details, but working while streaming is a bit more difficult - my CPU screamed at my all through the process! I'm hoping I can do Doc as soon as possible!
And some further progress - I've decided to add more to the composition since it seemed a bit too static. Further more, I added more colors to the palette for some contrast. Anyway, it's not final but I feel I'll spoil it if I continue working it in this session.
A sketch that started as a quickie, but ended up pissing me off - so I ended up working it a bit longer than planned and although it doesn't hit the spot dead-on, I think it kind of works.
By the way, this is a caricaturized portrait of Cristian "Sickbrush" Chihaia, who's work you can check out here:
A quick sketch of Bruce Lee... this is a later-night-er rather than a quickie, the difference being the energy of the lines... Anyway - I hope to finish this as soon as possible!
